Mark Zuckerberg Is Building A Co-CEO AI Agent

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced that he’s developing his own personal AI agent to help him with his job.
The Big Picture: Meta is reinventing itself for the age of AI, pushing employees to build their own AI tools, autonomous agents, and other use cases that streamline tasks and could potentially lower headcount. By developing his own AI agent for official company use, Zuckerberg is showing he’s not afraid to lead the charge… for better or worse.
Behind The C-Suite: Zuck is getting a co-CEO — himself.
According to The WSJ, he’s currently developing the AI agent — reportedly even writing the code himself.
It’s already helping him collect information faster, such as retrieving answers he would typically have to obtain by going through layers of people.
Final Render: Meta’s use of AI has really taken off over the past year, especially as the company has acquired startups like Moltbook and Manus, and employees regularly use tools like My Claw and Second Brain (which was created by someone at Meta). Employees even let their AI agents coordinate with other employees’ AI agents on Slack.
That’s what happens when employee performance reviews are tied to how much they use AI.
The Future: It wouldn’t be surprising if Zuck’s AI agent ends up delivering all of Meta’s next earnings report — even the Q&A section.
