Happy Wednesday, Future Party. Do you know how much the internet weighs? Weird question, we know, but the minds at Wired crunched the numbers by theoretically putting all the information online into strands of DNA. There’s a bunch of complicated computations, but the result is that the internet’s weight clocks in at 960,947 grams — nearly the equivalent of 11 average American men. That’s much smaller than we would’ve imagined.

Infinite Reality Wants To Bring Napster Into The Modern Age
Napster is getting a second shot at relevance with its acquisition by 3D-tech company Infinite Reality, which wants to turn the brand into a hub for metaverse-style digital concerts.
The Big Play: Napster’s acquisition sits at the intersection of two major trends — the creation of cutting-edge digital concert venues and the re-emergence of platforms that millennials will remember from the internet’s early days. If Infinite Reality is successful in making Napster a household name (for legit reasons), then it could be the wildest company-comeback story in years.
Behind the Streams: Infinite Reality CEO John Acunto told CNBC he wants Napster’s 3D spaces to be like “Clubhouse times a trillion.”
Infinite Reality bought Napster — which filed for bankruptcy in 2002 and has changed hands many times throughout the past decade — for $207 million.
It’ll continue as a (now legal) streaming service, but artists will also be able to build virtual 3D spaces to host metaverse concerts and listening parties.
Additionally, musicians and labels will also be able to sell physical and virtual merch.
The Future: Over its history, Napster has transformed from an illegal file-sharing service to a paywalled streamer in the mold of Spotify. It licenses millions of tracks and has paid out roughly a billion dollars in royalties, so it is a working business… even if no one was really aware of it. Not to mention, it counts Jon Vlassopulos, the former head of music at Roblox, as its CEO… so it has leadership with experience in this space.
As for Infinite Reality, which raised $3 billion earlier this year, the company has made some curious acquisitions over its six-year history, including the spatial-web startup Ethereal Engine, game developer LandVault, and VR retail brand Obsess… so Napster definitely fits into that mold as it tries to combine each asset into a music-industry disruptor.

AI’s Biggest Problem — And The Company Solving It
Today’s artificial intelligence makes countless mistakes because it can’t learn or think like humans. But that’s about to change — thanks to New Sapience. And you have just one day left to invest in its future.
New Sapience is moving beyond mainstream models, pioneering what it calls “Synthetic Intelligence” — AI that truly understands language and the world around it.
The potential? Staggering. Bill Gates once said that any company capable of building true AI would be “worth 10 Microsofts.”
It’s created by a team of rocket scientists and astronauts.
It’s backed by the co-inventor of the personal computer.
It’s led by a team with $350 million in previous exits.
And with the deadline looming, this could be your last chance to grab shares at just $4 before the price skyrockets.
The clock is ticking. Become a New Sapience shareholder before midnight PST on March 27th.*

H&M Debuts “Digital Twin” Models
H&M is jumping into the world of AI by creating “digital twins” of its models that the talent will fully control.
Why It Hits: Several fashion companies have already experimented with AI-generated models, which have been met with mixed-to-negative reactions. By experimenting with digital twins that are indecipherable to audiences, H&M hopes to get the benefits of AI in a way that empowers models and doesn’t turn off customers.
Behind the Curtain: H&M plans to create digital twins of 30 models this year.
It developed the digital twins with the models, their agents, and the tech company Uncut.
They’ll first be introduced on social media and watermarked as AI to see what the reaction to them will be.
The models will be contracted and compensated for their use as if they were doing the press materials IRL.
Additionally, the models will be able to license their digital twins out to competing brands since they have complete control over their use.
Last Looks: H&M hopes that the digital twins will help offload the sheer number of materials that models need to appear in for campaigns, while also helping them earn some extra cash by enabling them to work multiple jobs simultaneously. But if a model can be anywhere at once, brands may opt to hire a small pool of in-demand talent rather than settle for someone with less appeal — completely turning the supply-and-demand model on its head.
And that’s not even mentioning the devastation it could bring to the beauty-team industry — including makeup artists, hair stylists, and photographers — who help make a model IRL.

The Benefits Of Saunas Are Wild
Stress relief. Detoxification. And a whopping ~40% decrease in all-cause mortality.
Heat therapy might be the latest biohacking trend, but not all saunas are built the same. The cheap ones? Packed with toxic glues and hidden carcinogens.
Heavenly Heat Saunas are built different (literally) — no adhesives, ultra-low EMF and ELF, and carbon infrared heaters. So, you get all the benefits without the risks. They even make an ECO Mini for small spaces (just restocked — hallelujah).
