Paramount+’s Tech Plans Are Leaked

A leaked presentation to employees details how Paramount’s new regime plans to upgrade Paramount+ into a bigger player in the streaming ecosystem.

The Big Picture: During the acquisition process, Ellison made heavy investment in Paramount+ and improvements to the platform’s tech a major part of his pitch. Since winning the company, the industry has been waiting to see those plans in action — and to get a better sense of what to expect when Paramount+ eventually merges with HBO Max.

Behind The Scenes: The new Paramount+ is almost ready for its close-up, according to Insider.

Here are the features expected to arrive on the platform in the coming weeks:

  • Vertical micro-dramas and podcast clips

  • A “free front porch” that lets users watch select titles before subscribing

  • Multiview for sports content

  • Expanded interactive viewing experiences for live events

  • Personalized artwork for movies and TV shows

Final Update: Many of these new features are designed to build “mobile daily habits at scale,” encouraging viewers to engage with the Paramount+ app even when they’re not settling in to watch a full movie or show. That, in turn, could create more opportunities for advertising and brand sponsorships — something every streamer is chasing these days.

It may also be crucial for Paramount to get these features in place now, given that its proposed merger with HBO Max continues to face delays.

Coming Soon: Since David’s father, Larry Ellison, is one of the joint owners of the American version of TikTok, there could be some serious integrations with Paramount+ down the line to boost its micro-drama content.

Summer Bundles (Limited Edition): UV Aging

Summer means more time in the sun — and more opportunity for UV damage to quietly accumulate.

UV exposure is the #1 driver of visible skin aging, more than stress, sleep, or genetics. Every unprotected moment adds up, and a single exposure can trigger collagen breakdown for up to seven days, leading to the fine lines, sagging, and loss of firmness that appear over time.

Daily SPF is essential, but protection alone can’t undo the damage UV has already caused. That’s where the OS-01 Peptide comes in.

It’s clinically proven to reverse the visible effects of UV aging, going beyond what SPF can do on its own.

OneSkin’s limited-edition summer bundles pair peptide-powered sunscreen with its bestselling OS-01 skincare to create a complete system for keeping skin visibly smooth, firm, resilient, and protected all summer long.

Reverse visible UV damage.
