Robinhood Rolls Out A Social Network

Retail trading platform Robinhood is rolling out a dedicated social platform called… you guessed it… Robinhood Social.

Why It Hits: Retail trading is, by and large, a product of social influence — what people are saying about a company, how others are trading, and a bit of mob mentality that can lift a brand’s fortunes. By debuting a social platform, Robinhood not only facilitates trades but also elevates the conversation around them.

Behind The Posts: Welcome to every investor’s new favorite endless scroll.

  • Robinhood Social features a UI similar to X or Threads, with users able to “create a profile, make posts about their trades, and execute trades directly from their feed,” per The Verge.

  • Robinhood said a news feed is on the way, along with “the ability to follow insiders, hedge funds, and politicians.”

  • The beta invite was sent to 1,000 people who attended Robinhood’s HOOD Summit last September, with another 10,000 users set to be invited over the next few weeks.

  • Additionally, every customer profile will be verified as a real human to help prevent fraudulent market manipulation by bots.

Final Trade: Robinhood wrote in its announcement blog post that users “rely heavily on social media to navigate the markets”… but, like all things online, “it’s harder than ever to understand what’s real and what isn’t.” The hope is to create an ecosystem where Robinhood traders can “swap strategies, discuss market moves, and trade with clarity.”

It could become the next r/WallStreetBets — a place where stonks go viral.

Prediction: Expect every brand to hire a new social media manager to devise a Robinhood Social–specific strategy.

Start Your Spring With A Sip Of Vesper

If you’re reading TFP, you’re probably immersed in the hustle and bustle of keeping up with culture. It can be hard to slow down, take a breath, and intentionally relax.

Pique was founded to help people find a calmer rhythm. It’s a company that has crafted teas, botanicals, and minerals steeped in Eastern medicine and connects you with the natural world. They’re made with the highest-quality ingredients for people who want to perform at their highest-quality level.

For the transition from winter to spring, Pique recommends Vesper, the world’s first wellness aperitif.

  • It’s made with natural ingredients like L-theanine and Gentian root that support the nervous system and social ease — without numbing or overstimulating.

  • It promotes better sleep, clearer mornings, and calmer, more grounded evenings — perfect for those who struggle with daylight savings.

  • The flavor is sparkling, tart, herbaceous, and deeply sophisticated — something you actually want to savor.

Vesper is the next evolution in Pique’s mission to create rituals that support how you want to feel — without compromise.
