It’s a new week, Future Party. Here’s the most unexpected collab we can think of — Apple Music and King Charles III of Great Britain. The royal teamed up with the platform to drop his (allegedly) personal playlist, introducing it with a broadcast titled The King’s Music Room. So, which lucky artists made the cut? Bob Marley, Kylie Minogue, Grace Jones, and Raye are just a handful… so it’s clear the king likes a good bop.

America Will Now Build A Bitcoin Reserve
Fulfilling a campaign promise, President Donald Trump signed an executive order to establish a government reserve of Bitcoin and a separate reserve for other cryptocurrencies.
The Big Picture: President Trump has positioned himself as very pro-crypto in his second term, appointing tech entrepreneur David Sacks as crypto czar, directing his administration to drop lawsuits against exchanges, hosting a “Crypto Summit” with top execs, and even controversially launching his own memecoin on Inauguration Day. By establishing an official reserve of the most popular crypto, he’s signaling for the markets to take Bitcoin as seriously as gold.
Behind the Code: America is getting a digital Fort Knox.
It calls for a full audit of all the Bitcoin the US government has seized in criminal and civil forfeiture, estimated to be around 200,000.
120,000 of that Bitcoin was seized from husband-wife thieves Ilya “Dutch” Lichtenstein and Heather “Razzlekhan” Morgan — dubbed “Bitcoin’s Bonnie and Clyde.”
The government won’t sell any of the Bitcoin (it’s sold 195,000 in the past for $366 million), instead holding it as a “store of value,” per Sacks.
The order also calls for Treasury and Commerce Departments to “develop budget-neutral strategies for acquiring additional Bitcoin.”
Additionally, the order establishes a US Digital Asset Stockpile to house any other cryptocurrencies seized by the government.
The Future: Interestingly, the price of Bitcoin hasn’t fluctuated much since the announcement, trading at about $86,000. It briefly skyrocketed to $100,000 last year when Trump won the election. Despite the ups and downs, Bitcoin has maintained a pretty steady growth trajectory (despite all the considerable risks). If that continues, it could be used to pay off a significant amount of debt far down the line.

Fashion Comes For Boxing
Boxing is luxury now, as the combat sport welcomes renowned designers and staple fashion labels into the ring.
Why it Hits: The confluence of fashion and sports has reached a fever pitch, and boxing has been minted with a new cultural influence after Netflix’s Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul fight landed a record number of viewers. 2025 may be the year of boxing, so brands don’t want to miss out on the action… especially when younger customers are engaged.
Behind the Curtain: Boxers don’t wear much in the ring, so each piece needs to stand out.
According to Complex, “popular modern labels like Denim Tears and Fear of God to fashion houses like Dior and Dolce & Gabbana” have all dressed fighters in the ring — which includes trunks, robes, and shoes.
That’s been driven by some fashion-forward fighters, including Devin Haney, Gervonta Davis, and Stephen Fulton, Jr., creating conversation around their looks.
The popularity has sparked some boxing-inspired pieces for the average customer, including boots by Miu Miu, an entire capsule collection from Gallery Dept., and punching bags from Supreme.
Last Round: Boxing is kind of the inventor of the tunnel fit, as a fighter’s entrance was meant to communicate a vibe, instill fear, or create a theatrical moment. As the more costume-forward elements fade and fashion takes a step forward, brands may view a fighter entering the boxing ring as a new runway opportunity for their boldest looks.
Just, please, designers: no pre-bloodstained pieces.

How do you feel about athletes’ tunnel fits?
53.2% of you voted No in Friday’s poll: Would you watch the World Cup final halftime show even if you’re not a soccer fan?
“I’m a huge soccer fan, and having a cooldown of more than 15 minutes would be bad for the athletes. If the halftime entertainment can stick to 15, then I’m all for it, but I’m not here for a song and dance. I’m here for the sports.”
“More like maybe — depends on who the artist is.”
“I AM a football (soccer) fan, and I’m not interested in a halftime show. I’m interested in the game.”
