Happy Wednesday, Future Party. Apparently, artificial intelligence is getting a rebrand — it’s now called “super intelligence.” At least, that’s the new verbiage President Trump announced for the US government. Until OpenAI changes its name to OpenSI, though, the new term can wait.

Gap Gets A Boy Band

Just Your Type // Courtesy of Gap

Gap announced that it’s partnering with upstart boy band Just Your Type (JYT) for a fashion-focused mall tour.

Why It Hits: Gap’s new collab reflects its growing “fashiontainment” strategy, launched by the company’s new CEO, Richard Dickson. Part of that mission was hiring its first chief entertainment officer, Pam Kaufman (a former Nickelodeon and Viacom exec), to oversee entertainment partnerships not just for the flagship brand, but also for Old Navy, Banana Republic, and Athleta. Gap hopes embedding deeper into culture will help the company become the coolest kids in the mall. So far, growing sales numbers suggest the plan is working.

Behind The Music: Two of the biggest trends of the ’90s — Gap and boy bands — are joining forces.

  • JYT will perform at malls across America, including meet-and-greets at Gap stores.

  • Gap will also co-produce a docuseries about the band’s formation, which was spearheaded by Grammy-nominated music producer and songwriter Freddy Wexler (he’s written songs for Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande).

  • And, of course, Gap will release a clothing collection co-designed by the band’s five members — talk about taking tour merch to a new level.

Final Number: According to WSJ, Gap’s history with music goes back to its founding in 1969, when the retailer was known for selling Levi’s jeans and records. The company was almost even called Pants and Discs (honestly, they should consider reviving that). Music has played a big part in Gap’s marketing over the years, too, with the company working with major acts including Missy Elliott and Aerosmith.

While JYT doesn’t have anywhere near the cachet of the biggest boy bands out there (it only formed last year and signed with Republic Records in December), Gap is getting the chance to build alongside a band with a lot of promise… ensuring the company is in the DNA of the group’s identity.

Encore: How could Gap not introduce a custom jingle created by JYT? Maybe soon, every brand will want a new sonic identity created by a known artist.

Assistants vs Agents Wants To Give Assistants Their Own Lloyd

Meme-account-turned-media-startup Assistants vs Agents (AvA) is rolling out a platform designed to help assistants, coordinators, and other entry-level entertainment workers optimize their jobs.

The Big Picture: Hollywood assistants have always had a tough job (we here at TFP have first-hand experience), and the roles have only become harder as budgets get crunched and assistants now have to support multiple execs. A lot of that is a systems issue as much as a workload one, so anything that can modernize processes and save time could become a must-use tool.

Behind The Cubicles: AvA founder Warner Bailey, WMG vet Ryan McCaffrey, and UTA vet Vince Morales have created a platform designed to give entry-level entertainment workers a leg up.

  • The new platform is called “Lloyd,” which has to be named after Ari Gold’s loyal assistant in Entourage.

  • Lloyd combines several disparate functions — scheduling, deal tracking, avails, etc. — into one easy-to-use “intelligent workspace,” according to THR.

  • That will allow assistants to no longer act as what McCaffrey calls the “switchboard stuck between the disparate systems.”

  • Lloyd is reportedly already embedded in “some of the most respected agencies, labels, and media companies in the global entertainment industry,” according to Morales.

Last Call: AvA has quickly evolved into one of the most influential brands in young Hollywood, thanks to Bailey’s expansion into newsletters, live shows, and IRL events. He says Lloyd’s ultimate goal is to free up enough time for entry-level workers to focus on the things that really matter — mentorship, critical thought, and creative support that can lead to meaningful career growth.

At the very least, things may get done a bit faster in Hollywood. That would be a welcome change for the notoriously slow-moving industry.

The Future: Prepare for the most ambitious assistants to rise through the ranks by using Lloyd to all but automate the logistical demands of the job. There’s nothing more valuable than time.

The Vital Molecule Most Skincare Ignores — Now 25% Off

Most skincare only treats what you can see on the surface. But longevity research shows that visible aging actually begins deeper within the skin, at the cellular level.

That’s where a molecule called NAD+ comes in. It helps repair cellular damage and keep skin functioning properly, but levels naturally decline with age.

Created by PhDs from Harvard and MIT, Aramore is the first clinically proven skincare brand to boost NAD+ in skin cells. Its patented technology delivers NAD+ precursors directly to the skin’s basal layer to support smoother texture, brighter-looking skin, and fewer fine lines.

Every formula is also fragrance-free, sulfate-free, and paraben-free. And right now, their biggest sale of the summer is on.
