Happy Tuesday, Future Party. If you don’t have a toddler, you might not know that the most-watched YouTube video ever is “Baby Shark Dance” by Pinkfong. It’s racked up an insane 16.4 billion views since being uploaded in 2016, averaging 4.7 million plays a day (again, if you have toddlers, you know this too well). What may surprise even the parents out there is that Pinkfong doesn’t make that much from the video because it’s listed as “Made for Kids,” which limits ad revenue. We guess that means the eventual “Baby Shark Goes to College” video is going to be a real moneymaker…

Bezos Is Back In The C-Suite
Jeff Bezos has launched an AI startup called Project Prometheus that aims to optimize engineering and manufacturing.
The Big Picture: Project Prometheus joins big players like Nvidia and startups like Periodic Labs in hoping to build AI-powered robots that can autonomously build, research, and conduct experiments across a variety of critical fields. Whoever cracks it could be… well… the Amazon of robotics.
Behind The Startup: Bezos has apparently tired of spending all his days on his mega-yacht — he wants in on the AI action.
The Amazon founder has taken on the role of co-CEO of Project Prometheus, alongside now-former Foresite Labs CEO Vik Bajaj, a renowned physicist and chemist.
The startup is launching out of stealth with a whopping $6.2 billion in funding (most of it from Bezos himself) and a headcount of nearly 100 employees.
The company will focus on utilizing AI to make computers, spaceships, and cars — and may also explore physical sciences and drug development.
Final Pitch: The big issue facing every AI company is a continual lack of capital… which is hilarious when you consider we’re talking about the biggest companies in the world. But it’s also the challenge that brought Bezos — one of the richest people on the planet — to the table. The man not only has quite the bank account at his disposal, but the track record to raise a nearly infinite amount of cash to leapfrog competitors.
By taking on the co-CEO role, Bezos is signaling to investors that he’s in it for the long haul.
Look Out: We wouldn’t be surprised if Bezos’ master plan is for AI-powered robots to start building Blue Origin rockets and satellites at scale.

Gen Z Wants To Clean Up After Billionaires
Gen Z is ditching the corporate ladder in order to work for the biggest corporate titans on Earth… as personal support staff.
Why It Hits: Good white-collar jobs are increasingly difficult (impossible, based on the vibes out there) to find right now as AI-powered automation transforms companies into leaner, meaner operations. Meanwhile, there are now more than 3,000 billionaires on Earth (up from 322 in 2000), and they would very much like to hire armies of people to make their lives easier and manage their sprawling empires.
Between The Jobs: Private staffing — working personally for a rich individual or family — is becoming the hottest job on the market, per Insider.
Roles include nannies, executive assistants, personal assistants, house managers, butlers, security staff, chauffeurs, personal chefs, and much more.
Many support roles are paying $150,000 to $250,000 — much more than normal entry or mid-level white collar jobs. No wonder people with graduate degrees are applying.
They also come with perks like a 401(k), PTO, chef-cooked meals, a provided wardrobe, and access to a jet-setting or yacht-faring lifestyle.
But the perks come with compromise. Many times, staff are expected to always be available to the “principal” and will likely have to spend holidays with their bosses rather than their own families.
The Future: A survey this year from Deloitte points to why these roles have become so popular among young people. Only 6% of Gen Zers want to reach a leadership position in their careers, sometimes even opting to turn down promotions to management — what’s called “conscious unbossing” for those who are chronically online. Yet an Empower survey found that the same cohort believes they need a salary of $600,000 to be financially successful.
In other words, something’s not adding up… unless cosplaying Downton Abbey was your intended career trajectory.
Next Role: While private-staffing recruitment agencies have been around for decades, expect dedicated schools that teach private-staffing skills to pop up, acting as an alternative to the typical college track.
